Errors when accessing your web site or blog

Some customers are seeing various errors when attempting to access their Yahoo! Site Solution web site, blog, or other pages that utilize a MySQL database.

If you are receiving an error, you may be able to fix it yourself by performing a database repair from your Web Hosting Control Panel. Please see our help page titled ‘How do I repair a corrupt database?‘ for more details.

If repairing the database does not fix the error, please contact us.

MySQL database repair may cause the database to lock

Some customers may notice that repairing their MySQL database using phpMyAdmin is failing, and causing the tables to appear as ‘In Use’.

Customers should not attempt to repair their MySQL database in phpMyAdmin. Instead, customers should perform the repair with the steps in this repair database help page. Please note this method of database repair will take several minutes and will not return a message stating the repair is complete.

We are aware of this issue, and are working to resolve it as soon as possible.
