Some Yahoo! Small Business customers may be experiencing issues viewing their Yahoo!-hosted web sites or stores.

We are aware of this issue and are currently working to resolve it as quickly as possible.

Unable to publish using Yahoo! SiteBuilder

We have learned that some Yahoo! Small Business customers located in the United Kingdom and elsewhere in Europe may be unable to publish their web sites using Yahoo! SiteBuilder.

Our engineers are currently investigating on this issue.

Web Hosting site access issues

Some Yahoo! Small Business customers may be unable to access their web sites at their domain names (web addresses) at this time. Web browsers may return a 404 or DNS error message when attempting to view these sites.

This will also affect our customers’ ability to access their sites using the alternate hosting URL, or accessing Yahoo! Site Solution or phpMyAdmin.

We are aware of this issue and are working to bring your sites back online as quickly as possible.

Issues with Microsoft FrontPage extensions

GeoCities Plus customers unable to upgrade to Web Hosting

Some Yahoo! GeoCities Plus customers have reported an “Order Canceled” error when they try to upgrade to Yahoo! Web Hosting.

If you are a Yahoo! GeoCities Plus customer and encounter this issue when trying to upgrade, please do not contact our sales team using the phone number in the error message. Instead please contact us immediately by returning to geocities.yahoo.com and clicking the Contact us anytime link.

Please be sure to include your contact information and the following:

  1. Yahoo! ID:
  2. Domain to be used with the upgrade:
  3. Page before error URL:
  4. Error page URL:
  5. Error message:
  6. Date & Time of your attempt:
  7. Credit card type, last 4 of card number and expiration date

Unable to log in to FTP using account owner’s Yahoo! ID

Some Yahoo! Web Hosting customers may have difficulties logging in to FTP using the account owner’s Yahoo! ID.

As a workaround, please create a new FTP user account in your Web Hosting Control Panel, Manage Tab, Password Manager link.  Please see this help page on creating a new FTP user account:

Issues Connecting to FTP

If you are experiencing issues, please ensure that your FTP settings match those found in your Web Hosting Control Panel, Create & Update tab, File Management Tools box, FTP Settings section.

GeoCities to Web Hosting File Migration Issues

Comcast Users Unable to Connect to Some Yahoo! Small Business Sites

Site Statistics graph in Web Hosting Control Panel not loading
