Some RoadRunner Internet users are unable to access Business Email

Yahoo! Small Business customers who use the RoadRunner internet service may be unable to access their Yahoo! Business Email web mail page or download email via POP programs such as Microsoft Outlook and Mozilla Thunderbird.

Affected customers may encounter this error when attempting to view their Business Email via the web mail page:

Unable to contact the mail server.

We are aware of this issue and are working with RoadRunner to resolve it in a timely manner.

Some Business Mail signatures may appear as HTML code in All New Yahoo! Mail

Some Yahoo! Small Business customers may be experiencing an issue where email signatures created in the Color and Graphics mode are displaying as HTML code while composing a message in All New Yahoo! Mail.

Customers experiencing this issue may work around it by switching to Yahoo! Mail Classic.

To switch to Yahoo! Mail Classic:

  1. Click the Options link in the upper right corner of your screen.
  2. Choose Mail Classic from the pull-down list.

Check Email link is not working for some customers

Some Yahoo! Business Email customers may be unable to check their Yahoo! Business Email through the “Check Email” link in their My Services page.

Customers encountering this issue may also be unable to check their Yahoo! Business Email through their domain’s Business Email subdomain at http://mail.domain.tld (replace domain.tld with the domain name associated with your Yahoo! Business Email account).

As a workaround, customers may check their Yahoo! Business Email through their free Yahoo! Mail.

Issues connecting to Business Email from Web Mail page

Some Yahoo! Business Email customers may encounter difficulty switching from their Yahoo! Mail web mail page to their Yahoo! Business Email web mail page.

We are aware of this issue and are working to resolve it in a timely manner.

Customers can still access their Yahoo! Business Email web mail page by logging into the mail subdomain of their web site, for example

http://mail.domain.tld

where domain.tld is the domain name associated with the Yahoo! Business Email account.  For more information on this alternate method for accessing your Yahoo! Business Email account, please visit our help page.

Unable to send and receive Business Email via POP client

Some Yahoo! Small Business customers are reporting errors while sending or receiving Business Email using a POP client, such as Outlook, Outlook Express, Mac Mail, or Thunderbird.

If you are having trouble accessing your mail with POP, please ensure you are entering the correct POP settings for your account.

As a workaround, Business Email users with POP and Webmail access can send and receive mail using the Webmail interface. To access your mail, visit http://mail.yourdomain.com (replacing yourdomain.com with your own domain name).  See details in the help center.
