Some email users experiencing “Connection Failed” error using SMTP

Some Yahoo! Business Email customers may encounter connection errors when attempting to send email via programs which supports POP, such as Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird.

We are working to resolve this issue in a timely manner. In the interim, customers can access their Yahoo! Business Email account web mail page.

Some Yahoo! Business Email customers may encounter an error, “Temporary Problem Accessing Database,” when attempting to download their email via a mail program that supports POP, such as Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird.

We are working to resolve this issue in a timely manner. In the interim, customers can access their Yahoo! Business Mail account via their Yahoo! Business Email web mail page.

Yahoo! Web Analytics maintenance on January 25 and 26

Beginning at 10 p.m. PST on January 25, until 3 a.m. PST on January 26 (5 hours), Yahoo! Web Analytics will undergo important database upgrades and maintenance. Data collection during this period will not be affected, but some Merchant Solutions Standard, Professional, and Yahoo! Store merchants using Yahoo! Web Analytics will not be able to access their Yahoo! Web Analytics account and reports during this time.

Free shipping coupon issue with displayed value for shipping

Coupons for free shipping which have been created or updated after 5 a.m. (PST) on January 12 are experiencing an issue with the displayed value for shipping. Our engineering team is actively reviewing the issue and working on a resolution.

Please hold off on any changes to coupons within your store until we have this issue resolved. If you have already made changes, setting the Alternate Shipping Credit to .01 is the recommended workaround at this time (please note that this will give customers a $0.01 discount to the order when a shipping method not associated with the coupon is selected).

Support center phone issues

The Small Business Customer Support center is currently experiencing intermittent issues with our phone lines that are causing some calls to be unexpectedly disconnected.

Our telecommunications team is working hard to resolve this issue. If your call is disconnected, please try calling again later or visit the online help center for immediate assistance.
