Possible latency when connecting to MySQL or Yahoo! Site Solution

Some Yahoo! Small Business customers may experience delays or be unable to connect to MySQL via PHP or the Yahoo! Site Solution publishing tool. We are aware of this issue and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible.

Business Mail – Rejected Email with “Deferred” Error

Email sent to some Yahoo! Business Mail users may be rejected by the system with an error message in this form:

421 4.7.0 [TS01] Messages from <x.x.x.x> temporarily deferred due to user complaints – <x.x.x.x> ; see http://postmaster.yahoo.com/421-ts01.html

We are investigating what may cause this message to be generated and will resolve the issue in a timely manner.

Web Hosting – Form Delivery Latency

Some Yahoo! Small Business Web Hosting customers may find that information entered into forms which are served by the Form Mail Add-On may not be delivered to their target email address in a timely manner.

This issue may affect forms created in Yahoo! SiteBuilder, Yahoo! PageBuilder, or by pasting in the Form Mail Add-On Code from the Web Hosting Control Panel.

We are aware of this issue and are working to resolve it in a timely manner.

Incomplete search results in Yahoo! Business Mail

Some customers who use the Search Mail functionality in their webmail interface may find that their search results are incomplete.

Latency and Delivery Issues with Business Mail

Some Yahoo! Small Business customers may experience delivery failures of business email messages. Sending may fail without any bounceback messages or other feedback. Some customers may also experience slowness in receiving their business mail.

We are working to resolve this issue in a timely manner.

Unable to Manage Domain from Domain Control Panel

Some Yahoo! Small Business customers may be unable to manage their Yahoo! Small Business domain from the Domain Control Panel, and may find that their domain is not resolving properly.

We are aware of this issue and are working to resolve it in a timely manner. If your domain was previously active but is not resolving, please contact us.

Verizon Wireless Internet Blocking Access to Some Sites

Verizon Wireless Internet users may be unable to access some Yahoo! Small Business sites using their Verizon Wireless Internet connection.

Verizon Wireless has confirmed that they are blocking access to the IP addresses used by some Yahoo! Small Business sites, and are working to remove this blockage.

We are working with Verizon Wireless Internet to resolve this issue in a timely manner.

Business Mail – Intermittent Prompting for Password via POP

Some Yahoo! Business Mail customers may be prompted for their Yahoo! Business Mail login and password when checking their email accounts via a POP program such as Outlook, Outlook Express, Mozilla Firebird or Apple Mail.

Customers who encounter this issue should be able to view their email via their Yahoo! Business Mail Web Mail page. POP-only email account holders should be able to access their mail after repeated password prompts.

We have found that changing a POP-only account password from the Email Control Panel may resolve this issue for POP-only email account holders.

We are working to resolve this issue in a timely manner.

502 Errors and Page Load Errors

Some users are reporting page Error 502 and other page load errors on content being served from web hosting.

We are aware of this issue and are actively working to resolve it. Please note that this issue could impact any pages, including checkout pages, which are calling content from the impacted web hosting server(s).

Unable to publish from SiteBuilder

Some Web Hosting and Merchant Solutions customers are encountering an error message when attempting to publish with Yahoo SiteBuilder.

We are aware of the issue and are diligently working toward a resolution as soon as possible.
