08:55 PM PST: Fax Feature temporarily disabled

We have temporarily disabled the Fax feature on Merchant Solutions accounts due to technical difficulties. Fax service will be re-enabled when our 3rd party fax service confirms the issue has been resolved.

(6/01/09) Our 3rd party fax service provider continues to investigate fax feature technical issues. We are waiting for our provider to complete their investigation before re-enabling the fax service. In the meantime, as an interim workaround, we'd like to suggest this help article for merchants who wish to receive orders by email and automatically print order emails upon receipt.

(6/03/09) We continue to work with our 3rd party fax service provider to get details of their investigation into Fax feature technical issues. We are waiting for our provider to complete their investigation before re-enabling the Fax service and apologize for the interruption in service. (6/19/09) We continue to work with our 3rd party fax service provider who are working through their carrier to gather records to finalize the investigation of the issue. Merchants needing order notification functionality should enable email order delivery and can set up a rule in Outlook to auto-print these emails.
