06:00 PM PST: Merchant Solutions System Maintenance

Yahoo Merchant Solutions will be undergoing a quick system maintenance today between 6:00 p.m. PT, until 7:00 p.m. PT. During the maintenance window, there will be a 30-40 minute period when merchants might see a loop for account password or Yahoo Security Key prompt when attempting to access links within the Store Control Panel. Once the maintenance has been completed, account access should be completely restored.

Following the maintenance period, Yahoo Security Key access will be ended and access to certain features in the Store Control Panel will now require a password authentication instead of the Yahoo Security Key.

We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience while the maintenance is underway.

(07/24/15) Some customers have reported login loops that redirect back to the Yahoo Security Key prompt when attempting to access links within the Store Control Panel.

Our engineers are working to resolve this problem as quickly as possible. We appreciate your continued patience.

(07/24/15) Merchants that are still experiencing a Security Key loop should have all users and automated processes stop accessing the Store Editor for 40 minutes, and then resume log in. Merchants may also contact support for assistance with manually stopping Store Editor processes.

03:36 PM PST: Unknown host error when trying to view website

Some customers have reported seeing the following error when view their site:

“Unknown Host

Description: Unable to locate the server requested — the server does not have a DNS entry. Perhaps there is a misspelling in the server name, or the server no longer exists. Double-check the name and try again.”

We are investigating this issue and hope to have it resolved as soon as possible.

09:51 AM PST: Cannot access Commerce Central Live Web Insights & App Gallery page

Merchant Solutions customers clicking the Live Web Insights & App Gallery link from the Store Control Panel are seeing the following error:

  • 500 error Oops! An unexpected error occurred. Please contact us to let us know, so we can fix it as soon as possible.

We are working to resolve this problem as quickly as possible.

11:59 AM PST: Unable to Import Catalog into Yahoo SiteBuilder

Some customers have reported the following error when importing their Store Catalog into Yahoo SiteBuilder:

You must have a Yahoo Merchants Solutions account to use this feature.

We are investigating this issue and hope to have it resolved quickly.
