Some merchants have received an email from PayPal that outlines new security standards, including upgrades to SSL certificates.

We’re aware of the changes and are taking the appropriate steps. You don’t need to do anything right now. If action on your part is required in the future, we’ll let you know.

05:23 PM PST: PCI Security Standard Updates

We have recently rolled out updates to stores for new PCI compliance standards. Some merchants have reported purchasers receiving the following error at checkout:

There was an issue validating your payment information, please reenter your credit card number.
Credit card number is invalid.

The issue is likely related to a new card number tokenization process added to maintain PCI compliance, and may require a JavaScript-knowledgable developer to adjust custom checkout scripting.

01:13 PM PST: Text messages for two-step verification delayed

We’ve received reports that the text messages for our two-step verification feature are being delayed. This delay can result in the verification code being unusable.

Our engineering team is investigating this issue. We will share more updates as they become available.

(09/30/16) We have temporarily disabled two-step verification while we continue to investigate delays in text message delivery. This feature will be re-enabled once the issue is resolved.

09:28 AM PST: Intermittent mail delivery error to Business Mail boxes

Some Business Mail accounts are generating a 554 error on mail sent to the account. We are investigating this issue and are working to resolve it as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this is causing.

(08/17/16) Customers that are encountering this on a POP only account can upgrade the email account to a web and pop format to clear up the problem.

We have received reports that order processing options are missing on orders placed using an American Express after manually modifying the order. Our engineering team is investigating this issue. We will share more updates as they become available.
